How to do keep-ups: A beginners guide

When kids start to play football, they always want to learn how to do keep-ups.

Seeing the best players in the world juggling the ball on television or celebrity freestylers showing off their skills can make young footballers want to copy their tricks.

But not only can keep-ups look good, they can really help a player develop their love of the ball and improve their touch and control. A vital part of the game.

And to do the keepy-ups, all you need is a football, and some time to practice, and you’re away. So in these times of solitude during this lockdown, developing individual skills and techniques is a perfect way to pass the time and play some football as well.

But if you can’t even manage to keep the ball up two or three times, how can you get better? Where do you start?
