So, your son or daughter is attending a JBFC Coaching session, but what do you need to know before you arrive?
Here’s an outline to help you ahead of your child’s session.
JBFC Saturday Club sessions, and most 121 and small-group coaching, take place at the Jubilee Field, Tile House Lane, Great Horkesley, CO64EP. Click here for a map.
While we are still under giovernment restrictions and guidelines, there will be certain rules that JBFC and parents must observe. Click here to see our current Covid-19 guidelines.
The pitch at Jubilee Field in great Horkesley is grass. Football boots with a firm ground sole are recommended, particularly during wet weather, but trainers are ok too. Shinpads are also recommended for children as a safety measure.
Appropriate sports clothing for the weather is recommended, many of the children wear there favourite team kits and wrap up a bit more during the colder months.
Every child must bring their own water bottle clearly marked to ensure that are well hydrated during the sessions.
In the event of injury, JBFC coaches will in the first instance tend to the player, subject to Covid-19 regulations. If your child has any medical conditions that might require medication during a session, ie asthma, please ensure they have their asthma pump with them for all sessions.
All coaches have a minimum level one FA Coaching qualification, as well as DBS records checks, safeguarding certificates and first aid qualifications.
